Blair Beven is currently the founding partner of XVII Degrees, a boutique law firm specialising in Intellectual Asset Management and Intellectual Property (IP) for businesses throughout Australia:

Very experienced IP Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the area of trade marks, patents, copyright, and designs. Highly skilled in IP litigation, including breach of confidence matters, data protection, privacy, patents, and trade mark enforcement. Has appeared before IP Australia in trade mark opposition matters and the Supreme and Federal Courts in IP disputes. Blair also have strong brand protection advisory experience and large global portfolio management skills. More recently, Blair has worked with the commonwealth government to devise a global branding strategy and filed trade mark applications in over 120 countries.
Blair currently manages over 2000 trade marks in Australia and overseas and represents the IP interests of over 250 clients.
